Online ADRs Thread (Updated FAQ 9/9/9)

OK Now I am really ticked off...I have just called 5 different Disney numbers (each wonderful CM just passed me on to the next). I had my reservation number verified (it is exactly what I have been entering). Most people told me that if you booked through a travel agent, you cannot link to your reservation online. The last guy said no one who books through a TA can retrieve their reservation and I said I know that others have and he said people you know and I explained that it was my online DISers and he said it isn't true...

I AM SO MAD!! Stupid Disney..so according to the wonderful folks who didn't help me worth a flip, none of you who have booked through CAA/AA/TA can retrieve your reservation and neither can I. Great customer service. I bet they could get it right if I was spending $$$$...I will get over it and just call...this is just so frustrating.

Not sure if I can help or not, but I will try. I just went to the WDW website & was able to pull up our adr info. so it seems to be working ok. Here is a link to view your WDW dining reservations: http://disneyworld.disney.go.com/store/retrieveReservation

If you put in your adr confirmation # along with the phone # it is linked to, then it should pull up your adr info. If you do this & still get your resort & ticket info, then I am confused also.

This seems like a silly question, I know...but roughly how long does it take to make ADRs online? Our trip is not until next July so I will be making our ADRs in April, and it is on a Wednesday so it is a work day, but I could do it at 6AM, and I will have about half an hour to do it until I have to leave my house, maybe I could stretch it to 40 minutes at most. We will have a 10-night trip, with 12 ADRs. Places we are looking at (I know this is WAY in advance, but I can't help it!):

1. Chef Mickey's breakfast
2. CRT dinner
3. Crystal Palace dinner
4. Whispering Canyon Cafe dinner
5. Captain's Grille dinner
6. Cape May Cafe dinner
7. Cape May Cafe breakfast
8. Hollywood & Vine breakfast
9. Biergarten dinner
10. Les Chefs de France dinner
11. Tutto Italia dinner or Le Cellier dinner if we could get it
12. The Wave dinner

We are a party of 4, with the exception of CRT dinner, which will be a party of 10. Could I do this all in 40 minutes or less? My other option is to call at 7AM from the car right after I park near work. My work day starts officially at 8AM but I arrive early for parking and lesson planning and grading so I don't have to do it at home with my kids here. So I will have an hour at that point. TIA!

Put in the ADR # and then the number that you gave as the number to reach you while at WDW.

I made 8 ADRs recently and was done w/in 25mins. You might have to call for CRT w/ a party of 10.....but hopefully someone can verify that or can tell you the correct answer. Man, it's going to be hard waiting that long!! But I'd be doing the same thing.

Is it working right now for anyone? I can't get it to let me put in the ages of the children. It will search for just adults, but not children.

I am able to pull up the couple of ADR's that I made myself but most of my ADR's were made by my Dreams Unlimited agent and I can't pull those up. Should I be worried about those? Those are my important ones! LOL!

Check your browser / operating system. I have found Google Chrome does not work for the children. They probably designed for at least IE 7 with Windows XP or higher. I have found the best luck and speed with firefox (latest version 3.something) on a windows based system.

I am done my online ADR's

I have Askershus breakfast, Crystal Palace Dinner and Early Breakfast, 50's Prime Time Dinner, 'Ohana Breakfast and Dinner, HDDR, WCC Dinner, Tusker House Breakfast, 1900 Park Fare Dinner, Le Cellier and Chef Mickey's Breakfast.

We have a party of 8 people, 6 adults and 2 kids. If needed, are you able to make a reservation for 2 tables of 4? Would I be able to book one table of 4 and then go back in and book another?

I'm not totally sure about QS, but I was able to get the DxDP for 1 night in August w/ the AP rate. I would assume that they have the same (or a similar) policy. We had to split our room reservation into 2 reservations b/c our 1st day there was the last day of the AP summer rate. It worked out well for us though b/c we're saving $90 extra on dining & we were able to book HDDR @ 7:15 pm (instead of the 9:30 pm w/ TIW).

Do you all have the same reservation #? If so then go ahead and book like that.

If there are two different reservation #'s then you should book them with two different reservation #'s - I would hate it if a CM thought you were double booked and cancelled one or both ADR's

I made all of my ADRs on Saturday; however, when I go to check my ADRs on line, this is what I get:

"We are unable to retrieve your reservation. You may continue to make your dining reservations, contact your travel agent, or call 407-WDW-DINE for assistance."

Is anyone else getting this message? Should I be concerned? I have confirmation numbers for all of my ADRs, but even when I put in a confirmation number, this message comes up.

I was unable to get my +10 up today, so I had to call in the last ADR, but wondered if everyone was getting a confirmation e-mail now.

I logged in with my user name and password and then went up to the little suitcase and clicked on retrieve dining reservations. Then when I put in one of my confirmation number, I get that message. Do I need to try another way?

Quick question for all you online ADR experts! And sorry if this has already been answered...

I have a split stay (back-to-back reservations) for which I need to make ADRs in September. Unfortunately, my 90-day date falls when I will be on the Disney Magic! I am totally prepared to be up early that morning trying to make ADRs online but who knows how the connectivity/speed will be on the ship. I hope that I can make all my ADRs on that morning and not have to get up super early and be stressing on 2 days of my cruise.

Any suggestions? Would I have better luck booking all my days if I called that morning and actually spoke to a CM (although I think the phone rates are ridiculous- even on cell phones)? I have debated asking a family member to book for me, but I hate to say that I am a bit of a control-freak!

Any suggestions would be appreciated!!! TIA!
