Online ADRs Thread (Updated FAQ 9/9/9)

If you are a DVC member or if you booked through AAA or some other travel agent, it appears as though the Disney system will not pull up your reservation so that you can unlock the +10 feature.

I have been trying since 6:00 this morning to unlike the rest of my trip (booked through AAA) and it keeps saying it cannot retrieve the reservation. I was able to call this morning and book my entire trip, but cannot do it online.

Sorry, I know I am new, but this is bugging me.

Why is every thread about online ADR's being added to this thread? If that is the standard, then every thread about calling WDW DINE ought be on one long thread. That sounds silly, doesn't it? Online ADR's aren't going away. Everyday there at least 5 threads started about the online system. This thread is way too long now, imagine how long it will be in a year.

I was one of those up at 5am trying to book but the website could not accept my ressie. I kept trying then finally called. Good thing is that I got all the ADRs that we wanted. I was even able to change Le Cellier times around for Oct 1, so that is promising that there was enough availibility to change things around.

The CM I spoke to said that she was not an expert on the online reservation system, but the problems she heard were spotty. I am curious as to why some of us could get our confirmation numbers to work and some couldn't. I was thinking of emailing "disney" since whenever I tried to leave feedback on my problems the page wouldn't load. I stated to think "no harm no foul" since I got everything I wanted, but that doesn't help others... Has anyone had this problem and have they gotten any feedback?:confused3

Umm, this IS a stickied thread. With updates on the very first page, very first post of this very long thread :)

yes! You can check your dining reservations on-line at the official disney website under the My Disney vacation heading up in the right corner. Click on my disney vacation and then Scroll down to dining reservations. You will need to enter your confirmation numbers and phone number.

Why don't I see this option. The only space to put a reservation is for your resort. If I put my dining reservation in this field it brings up my resort and flight info????

One more question when it shows my flight it doesn't have the correct time arriving or departing. Is this ok????

Hi all,
I am trying to book my ADR on-line which I have done without any problems so far. However how can I link up all my ADR's to my Disney holiday booking.
(We have booked through the Walt Disney Travel Company)
It would be great to have all these under the same holiday booking but it does not appear to have the option on-line to put in your booking reference.
Many thanks in advance for your help in this matter and I look forward to hearing from any one soon.
With kindest regards and best wishes to all you fellow Disney fans.

here's the link: there is a little green suitcate next to where it says "my disney vacation" point to it with your cursor and on the very bottom of the drop down menu is says dining reservations. Hope that helps!:goodvibes

Do they have the correct flight numbers? If you are taking Magical express I would call and confirm the flights. I am not sure it would make a difference for your flight down but your pick up time to return to the ariport from your resort is based on your flight times. ( usually 3 hours prior)

Thanks for you help. The link worked. :cool1:

They do have the correct flights. The times say 12AM for both. Yes we are taking ME.

Do you even need the confirmation number when you checkin at the hostess stand? We have done ADR's before, but can't remember.

You should bring them. My friend texted me today from Teppan Edo and they didn't couldn't find their reservation in the system (she didn't have her number). She said all the other places they found her by name but at Teppan Edo they couldn't find her. So she sent me a text to remember to bring my confirm numbers just in case.

Yep I agree...it is too difficult to search through sooo many pages ...that questions are often getting overlooked and unanswered :(

I cannot figure out how to get back to my "cart" when making ADRs...Am I missing something? I have only been able to get to my cart when I add another ressie...help please! I am making a trial run tonight before I can actually make them in the morning!

My 90 day window is coming up and I've been playing around w/ the online booking, getting a feel for it. When I read your ? I went and tried to figure it out.....and all I can say is "hmmm....good question!". I found if I hit the "back" arrow button it would get me back to my cart w/ my stuff in it....but other than that I couldn't see another way to get back. Good luck in the morning!

On the upper right there is a icon that says my Disney vacation, click on that and then there should be a drop down. Click on Saved Dining Offer

We made ours by phone and checked them on-line. You do need the correct confirmation numbers, though. We had one wrong and almost panicked when that ADr didn't show up on-line...but we called and they confirmed it by phone for us.
As for having you confirmation # handy when checking at hostess stand... I don't remember being asked for it most of the time but better sfe then sorry. I keep them with me and once at Chef Mickeys they couldn't find my reservation but I had the numbers!
Also, on our last trip at Sci-fi Diner someone tried to claim that they were us when the hostess called our name to be seated - this was after we had already checked and we were just waiting out of the flow of traffic for the table to be ready ( I was shocked when the hostess told me)... but we had the numbers and the other guy couldn't pronounce our name correctly!

Oh my goodness! I would have never expected that! :scared1:

I cannot get my reservation to pull up on Disney's website. I booked over the phone directly with disney, FD Oct 1 - 10. How will this affect me when I try to book my ADR's on my 90 day mark on-line? Will it work or do I need to contact Disney to find out why my reservation won't show up?

Wow - talk about the nerve. It's at times like this I"m glad my last name is not a garden-variety one and has a whole mess of consonants in the middle!

:eek::eek::eek::eek::eek:DOUBLE, OMG!!!
meanwhile I get one of those Lime Mickeys and laminate it after writing ALL our ADRS on it, for 11 days its a lot to remember where we're to be, let alone anything else.....and then clip it on my backpack...always handy! ;)

questions are getting overlooked because they've been answered a million times. all the new topics posted are the same question over and over and over and over and... you get the point. the mods are doing their job and combining the same questions over here. Go to the first page and almost all the answers are there
