I feel people will be more willing to cancel ADR's that they are not using now because it is easier than waiting on the phone to cancel a ADR.
Plus if that are canceling that ADR it opens up for someone else.
I agree - I think MORE people will be cancelling ADR's they don't need with this online system then they did when they had to call in. If they find the something they wanted more they can just cancel the other while online. On the other hand not everyone will be willing to call in and wait on the phone, if there is a wait, to cancel. Or they don't want to wait and will call back but forget or don't get the time, etc.
I'm having trouble with the 90+10 I can only see up until 9/18...maybe i'm miscalculating but how do I see 100 days out?
You CANNOT reserve your ADR's 100 days out. It is 90 days from your date of arrival + 10 additional days If staying onsite at a Disney hotel.. if you haven't reached your 90 day and don't input your resort reservation number you will not see the +10 option
the title says it all-- I can't seem to find a way to cancel adrs online- does anyone know how? thanks
Try this link - make sure you use the same phone number that was used when you made the reservation.
http://disneyworld.disney.go.com/store/retrieveReservation
After you retrieve it there will be a cancel button next to the reservation. You cannot cancel online anything that has a credit card associated with it.
I asked this on the main online dining ADR thread but everyone there seems to be more worried about DVC and TA problems with the system...
Anyway, I'm going during
free dining and wanted to try to book through the new online ADR system. How is this going to work for Hoop de Doo during free dining? I know when you call you have to give them a credit card to hold. Also, I was playing around and checked on a date in September and it lists prices by all of the categories, even cat. 2 amd 3??? Can't figure out how online will work with a dinner show during free dining. Does anyone know?
TIA
The only way for your credit card not to be charged is if you associated your resort reservation to the booking and the resort reservation has a dining plan included that covers your dinner show credits.
Example -Quick dining plan won't work as it doesn't include table service meals
If you just bring up the dinner show but don't associate the resort reservation it will charge you the full price.
If you did associate the resort reservation it will show you the price but when you go to the check out screen it will say $0.00 to charge to your credit card.
If you choose category 1 and you are on the dining plan it will charge you as this category is not available on the dining plan except for the 9:30pm show.
Everyone REMEMBER that page 1 of this thread has a lot of the common questions that are asked along with links to the dining page
