Online ADRs Thread (Updated FAQ 9/9/9)

I am trying to add my reservation number (booked through CAA) so that when I can make my online ADRs I will be able to make 10 days worth.

I have had my TA confirm the number and sent 2 emails to Disney. Still nothing.

Did this happen with anyone else? Any ideas?

PrincessBelle what days were you looking at Mickey's BBQ? I have one on the 3rd for 6 people-3 adults and 3 kids. I will most likely cancel it.

I did post this earlier, but it's back a few pages now.

Squirrel - I'm looking for either 26 Sept, 1 Oct or 3 Oct. I'd be happy for any of them. We are a group of 4 - 2 adults, 2 kids. I'd love to know when your cancelling so i can try and pick it up.
 
;)colLOR="blue"]I had a problem too and what I did was sign in to my acct and then looked up my ressie...so it was linked to my sign in, then I made my ADR's and it worked fine.

if I tried to "find my ressie" while making ADR's it didn't work.

I hope this made sense.

Thanks for getting back to me so fast:thumbsup2

I made my reservation through a TA and not on the website. Would that make it harder??
 
I booked our trip through AAA and I wasn't able to link up my reservation online. I did book some ADR's but one day at a time, not 10. Your TA should be able to book them for you, though. (I ended up doing mine over the phone then adjusting some of them online.)
This is a glitch in the online system (DVC members have a problem too) that Disney knows about but it isn't fixed yet.

Actually, it has been fixed for DVC members and travel agent bookings.:)
 
I booked my trip with AAA and will need to do ADR's soon. I was able to pull up my reservation - are people who are having problems with getting the 10 days active finding their reservation and still not being able to get 10 days or are they not even able to link to their reservation?

I have been trying for weeks now and as of today, I am getting an error message (see below) sad1:
Sorry, we are not able to display your reservation at this time. Please try again later.
 
I keep adding our celebration when I pull up the reservation online and it appears to be there...and then when I just looked again to confirm everything before our trip (because I am sad like that :lmao:) and the celebration is not there....wonder if they are there somewhere and the CM's are going to think I am whack when I show up in a couple of weeks? :rotfl:

Anyone else running into this?
 
ditto that for me. I've put it in so many times cuz it keeps disappearing...It's becoming a joke.
 
I noticed the same thing when I checked my reservations...figure I'll just get the birthday button whe we check in and I'll be covered

Yes, I'm having the same thing happen with my celebration info.:confused: And boy did it take forever to put all that info in.
 
same problem here too! the only place where it seems to stick is on my reservations for the hotel other then that it's not working.
 
Phew...so glad it is not me...thought I was doing something wrong. I will get a button too - I can't believe I am shouting from the rooftops that it is my birthday - maybe this Disney celebration thing is good for me?:lmao:
 
Yeah, I just tried mine as well. I thought because it printed out on my email, that it would be there, but when I go in, it gives me the "Add a Celebration" option, but doesn't show it. I guess I'll wait until right before we go and add it one more time!
 
PrincessBelle lets cordinate a time for me to cancel and you try to book. I would just give you the ADR, but that was one I had to put a CC on.

I'm 3 hrs behind Orlando time. I'm up most days by 7am and then the first daycare child arrives about 7:45am. Then I can get online again around 1-2:30 ish as the children nap. I'm free in the evenings from about 6pm to 11pm (not for the next few days though as I'm still booking in the am, I'm in bed by 9pm).
 
Wow is there a lot of helpful information in this thread but believe it or not I still have another question (I did not have time to read all 150 or so pages). Once you place a reservation in your cart is that time being held for you until you check out? I'm going to try to get 2 difficult ADR's (CRT breakfast and LeCellier dinner) and am wondering if I should just make those ADR's, check out, then come back in and try to get my other not so difficult ADR's. Any advice?
