Onetime use points and banking

Have a question, if I want to make a reservation in Oct for Oct 2014 I am banking my 2013 pts and using my 2014pts. But I will still be 45 short can I transfer from someone or buy some onetime pts not sure if there is a limit on those?

You can only buy one time use points at 7 months, not 11.

So you wouldn't be able to do it in the scenario you're describing.
