It's that time of year again!!

Last year's thread helped me save so successfully for our Christmas Disney trip that I thought I'd do it again this year for our next vacation...

A Caribbean cruise!!

We visited family for New Year's Eve and New Year's Day on our way home from Florida so we've only been back 24 hours but DH has already spent some time looking into cruises.

We're thinking of a Western cruise (Cozumel, Belize, Grand Caymen) and if we CAN we're thinking of going in August. I still have to budget it all out though and if we can't get the money together by then, we'll just keep saving and push it back a bit.

I love following along. You build up a heck of a lot faster than I do though.

We have a trip planned for October. I am paying the food/souvenirs portion of the trip.

To pay for my portion I will be using:
Swagbucks 0 pending (going for PayPal, not there yet)
Perk 0 pending (waiting for $25 Target to cash out, not there yet)
ClixSense 0.59 in account right now (I cash out at $10)

Most likely not. DH is pretty excited about certain ports of call and Disney doesn't do the ones he has his eye on. Also, they are a lot more expensive than say...Carnival.

In all honesty, he just started looking into it...I'm the research freak. I'll try and tackle that next week so I have a better idea of what's what but for now, I'm thinking we'll aim for $4000 ASAP and go from there!

We just got back from our Disney vacation, so some of it is probably from charges from that...also DH just got a playstation 4, so that was a bit of a larger purchase than usual, plus we charge EVERYTHING we can and it adds up quick, also there's a points plus feature so that certain groceries are worth bonus points each week. I've learned how to rock those babies!!

All this combined is helping me accrue points fast!

Yep! When I looked into them I was bitterly disappointed. I love Disney but I don't consider the cruises a good deal...AT ALL!

I spent a fair amount of time this afternoon researching cruises on the Carnival website for the end of August 2015. I found an eight day eastern and a seven day western that I thought the hubs would be interested in. The kids could care less where we go or what we do, and I'm sure we'll do east, west and south in time so I don't care which one we tackle first.

DH is already talking about the NEXT, next trip! I guess magicking up the money for our Christmas Disney trip and now for the cruise has gotten him thinking and planning.

He wanted to line up Hawaii as a priority after the cruise (I'll have to look into Aulani ) and then hopes to tackle Paris and London with the kiddies after that (he and I have been twice). He floated the idea of a day at Disneyland Paris but I refused. I'd rather just go back to Disney World and focus on Paris and the Loire Valley when in France. He accused me of being less of a Disney lover than I seem to be.
