One year ago today my family and I boarded the Disney Magic. When we got off 5 days later the World had been turned upside down. I wish I was still on the ship.

One year ago today my family and I boarded the Disney Magic. When we got off 5 days later the World had been turned upside down. I wish I was still on the ship.

We were there with you, embarking on the second leg of a B2B. We had the best of time during those 9 days.

We were supposed to get off Dream this morning after a Concierge cruise with my in-laws. Our plan was to sandwich the cruise between two WDW stays. They have never been to any Disney park in their life. Since they both got the shot, there is still hope we get to bring them someday.

One year ago today, my family and I were arriving in New Orleans to board the Disney Wonder the following day. Hard to imagine all that changed just days later and still we have no sight of normal.

My wife and I were on a non Disney cruise. We were in Couzumel and we were meeting friends that were sailing a different cruise line.

One year ago today we were in New Orleans, bags repealed, ready to board the Wonder the next day. We had no idea that we would be some of the last DCL passengers for more than a year.

Hopefully, “ One year ago today we were all mourning the loss of cruises without realizing that it was all just about to restart again!”

I was reading about how Skagway helped its residents weather the loss of the 2020 cruise season and can't help but wonder if they'll be able to maintain that through 2021. No one imagined the world would be impacted for this long. Hard to believe that it's been almost two years since our first and only DCL cruise. Our family loved it so much I expected that we would have taken another cruise by now and be planning a 3rd. Now I'm just not sure when we'll try again, since we have a big and expensive safari planned (fingers crossed) for Summer 2022. Maybe our next cruise will be on the Wish!

One year ago today, my daughter got her costume for the dance she was doing with her studio at Disney Springs. The dance was supposed to be that April...and she was the only one who was going to do a roundoff back handspring in the dance....she was so excited. About 3 weeks later, we found out the trip was cancelled due to covid.

A year ago today we were on our first full day of our long awaited Panama Canal cruise that ended up being very different from what we thought.

One year ago today, I was packing my bags for a morning flight to Honolulu. It would be 15 nights in Paradise, watching the island slowly shut down. Waikiki Beach empty. People arriving as I left would be subject to the new quarantine.
