One week from tonight I will be on a plane....

Heading to Ireland. Ok, I will admit.. I am nervous. I've never been away from the kids for this long and to be so far away from them... yikes! My uncle we found out has lung cancer and isn't doing well, a very good family friend is in the hospital with cancer and now my grandfather was feeling quite ill today while we were over there for Mothers Day. So now i'm getting REALLY nervous.

But I have everything I need, went shopping yesterday for the last of the stuff I needed, socks and undies and a comfy outfit for the plane and toiletries and all. Have 2 batches of wash in to pack and to pack for my kids to go to my grandmas for 2 weeks. Just gotta get my grandma's huge suitcase and we're good to go. Just a week to wait, but a busy week, I have physical therapy for my knee on M/W/F and a orthopedic appt on Tuesday and my MIL comes in town (she's helping watch the kids while we are going) and I don't know what else....

Sorry to ramble but with all the sickness going on in the family and all, can't really bother them with any of this...

I am going to continue your "one week from tonight..."

One week from tonight I am going to be graduating college! I can't believe it. I too have a ton of things to do (including a final exam and packing up my entire apartment) and a billion people to say goodbye to. After next Monday we will scatter across the United States from California to New York and many states in between. Many I will see at my best friend's wedding in August and a few I may never see again . I know we will keep in touch through email. I'm just really sad that one great chapter of my life is over.
