One week from today...a bunch of firsts!

One week today will be our first trip as DVC members. It is huge for us, as we bought 15 months ago and had to wait much longer than anticipated for our first trip. Not only will it be our first as DVC members, but it will also be our longest ever to Disney. In total, we'll be in Florida for 15 days, including stays at BWV, SSR, and a quick trip to Universal. Oh, forgot to mention that it will be our first trip to Universal, too!

Here are all our firsts:
1) First trip as DVC members.
2) First stay at SSR.
3) First stay at BWV.
4) First Wishes cruise.
5) First time at several restaurants, including Dinosaur, Le Cellier, Hollywood Brown Derby, Coral Reef, Sci Fi Cafe,
6) First time meeting up with other Disboards readers (see my other thread).
7) First trip to Universal, as well as first stay at Hard Rock.
8) First time on Toy Story Mania.
9) First time the kids will be going to Disney Quest.
10) First time trying the Kimpossible activity at Epcot.

I am sure there are other firsts, but those are the main ones!

Have an amazing time we will also be there during the same time, and we have a few 1sts also.

1. 1st trip to Vero Beach
2. 1st ride for my kids on Toy Story Mania
3. 1st visit to T-Rex

This will be my 4th visit as DVC members and it only gets better and better. I hope you have a magical trip.

Sounds like a lot of great first's. We leave next Saturday the 8th for a trip we thought of doing a few weeks ago. We will be at SSR as well. This is trip 30 so the firsts are getting hard to come by. I think the only first we have is a dinner at Narcossee. We always plan at least one thing different to do but we have so many favorites it's hard to fit the new things on the agenda.

mandjblum....Interesting addition regarding your first purchase of AP's. It will be our first time with AP's, too. It will also be our first time with the TIW card, as we usually get the dining plan.....So many firsts!

To everyone else going soon, what firsts are YOU anticipating???

We are not going until October, but we will have a couple "firsts" as well:

1)first time taking my 84 year old Dad since becoming DVC members last fall

2)first time in 2 bedroom BWV, (although we have done 1 bed and studio)

3)My Dad's first WDW trip on his "new" knee (it's only 4 months old)

4)because of #3, first time experiencing WDW with someone in an ECV...I have a feeling I may be apoligizing a lot to people with bruised legs!
