One week ago...

.....was the first day of school. Yesterday, my youngest DD already brought home the first fundraiser of the year!! Doesn't take them long does it??!!

Nope, it sure doesn't. The middle schoolers should be coming home any day with theirs too

Nope, it doesn't take long at all. My high school daughter has had Happenings books for five days.

I expect a double assault from the Middle School where I have two daughters any day now.

And it's school picture week at both schools already, too

In this past week I have had my little neighbor come over to sell things, my granddaughter, and a cub scout.

What took them so long - we got ours on the THIRD day of school! My friend/neighbor and I had a bet on when the first one would be..

I actually don't mind this one since I do buy things for Christmas gifts. We don't ask anyone else to buy from us and I put on an order from just our family.

And speaking of early...DS8 is getting his school picture taken today - already!

Ditto Jill's school! And, DD's pictures are next Friday. I'm sure there'll be at least 2 more fundraisers before Christmas, too.

Thankfully, DS's high school doesn't have these 'general' fundraisers. Only the sports teams and clubs do them and, they're usually candy/chocolate.

My DS brought home a book sox fund raiser the FIRST day of school! And on the FOURTH day of school he brought home a notice that someone in the school was hospitalized for meningitis(non-bacterial).

Sorry folks, I have you all beat (ugh). Ours was MAILED home two weeks before school even began! I have 3 kids in 3 different schools and yesterday marked the 4th fundraising kit that we've received, and it's only mid-September.
