We are off to DLP at the end of this month for DD's 4th Birthday. She is Disney Mad - Loves princesses, Winnie the Pooh, Mickey and Minnie, AristoCats, I could go on, no really I could.
(DD is the Sleeping Beauty on the left)
Hubby and I both love Disney too and I have wanted to go to DLP for years so there is a small chance that this is partly for me too. With DD having her Birthday so close to Christmas we decided thatafter the successof our 4 hours at WDW in Florida last June that, her birthday would be more about experiences than presents and that she was ready for DLP - Last year we both took the day off and went to the cinema for first time to see Rapunzel ( on the day it came out). We had a special lunch and she then had a few friends round for a Rapunzel tower cake. She talked about that day far a good 6 or 7 months.
So the plan for this year is as follows:
Day 1 - Friday 27th January:
Train to london and St Pancras (we are only 40 mins from Kingscross so this should be a doddle) and this is where I hope the magic will begin. We are booked into the Sequoia Lodge but booked our Eurostar seperately (finally used some of DH's Eurostar miles and managed to get free crossing
) so have paid for Disney Express so that we can start enjoying DLP straight away.
We have decided to hit the Studio park first as there is less there that we thnk DD will want to do - or at least less that she has added to her agenda on teh DLP app on my iphone ( i know not yet 4 but knows so much more about the app than me!) Plus this means that on the Saturday - her actual Birthday - she will get the full force of the magic - a bit like this
We plan to eat at either Annettes or in the Hotel on Friday Night then we will have an early night ready for:
Day 2 - Saturday 28th January - My DD's 4th Birthday
EMH and Good Morning Fantasyland Breakfast in the Park
It's a Small world, Peter Pan, and Dumbo are the rides we want for today. We have lunch booked at Auberge De Cendrillon. The Parade at 5pm and some non princess character meets round up our time in the park. Will do as many rides as we can but these are our must do for the day - anything else is a bonus.
Have no plans for dinner, will see how full we are after lunch but might just grab a snack.
Day 3 - Sunday 29th January - our final day
Booked Breakfast at Cafe Mickey. Then pack into the park. We would like to see some Princesses. Such as Rapunzel
Cinderella
and our Favourite Belle
Have we missed anything?
