Sorry to bring up frustrations with MDE/FP+, but the website is anything but intuitive. Here's the scenario - two families on one DVC reservation. We don't want to have the other family have our card for charging privileges, so online check in can't be completed. Unless someone knows a way around it?

Am I correct that unless I load their tickets in MDE they cannot make FP selections? I clicked on the "send them an invite" button but they both say
they have not received an email from Disney. I don't want their ticket info on my MDE, so I guess booking simultaneous FP are out too?

They do trips to Disney independent of us, so they should have their own MDE accounts, correct? So I just tell them to make their own accounts and book their own FP and hope they can get times similar to ours?

Do they put my reservation number in for their MDE?
Thanks. So glad my next trip is to Universal...If this family was not eager for WDW this one would be too.

If you do on-line check-in, you can only enter the information for one CC. If all of you visit the front desk, they can set it up so that each family charges back to their own credit card.

Have they checked their spam folder? If they have their own MDE account(s), double check with them to make sure you are using the email address(es) they used to set up their MDE account(s).

They should, but don't necessarily have to. My belief is that every distinct family unit should have their own MDE account.

If you get connected with their MDE account(s), one person can make all FP+ selections. Another option is that you can copy them from one individual to another (subject to availability).
Do they put my reservation number in for their MDE?
If you connect with them via the Family & Friends list, the reservation should show up on their MDE account automatically.
