One tough girl!

Wow! That's inredible. Thanks for sharing.

OK, I looked. OMG! I shouldn't have! :scared1:

That is truly an amazing story. Although in a different context, my DD#3 is on a swim team and participates in area United States Swimming events. There is one girl from another team (probably in her teens) who I often see at meets who has no legs from below the knees. I am always inspired when I see her competing.

I watched it, but I shouldn't have......that was the creepyiest thing to see. Her leg was completely unstable. Man, that had to hurt! Crawling to the finish.....she probably didn't give that a thought! You do what you have to, but OMG!

What a great story. The film is awful to watch, though. The leg was jiggly! Poor kid - what a big heart.

WOW! I finally got the courage up to read the story, no way can I watch the video! What guts! I only hope that I have the courage to do what it takes, it whatever similar situation I may find myself in!

What a couragous girl!!!

Not once did she think of herself, only of letting her team and sister down!!

She is a true Winner in every sense!!!

Erica:)

I saw a different view of this on the news. Definately makes me cringe!

Wow...what an incredible story. I decided not to look at the video because I really don't want to see the gruesome details. It was enough just to read her story. Amazing!

Amazing! I read the story, but also decided NOT to view the video. I am very squeamish and didn't want to get upset. It truly shows you the power of the human spirit.
