One time use points

New to DVC, currently in closing process. I was wondering if you can charge the purchase price of one time points from Disney?

I used CC to get one time use points.

A maximum of 24, once per UY per membership.

To add to this, you get only one OTU transaction per UY. If you buy 10 OTU points for one reservation and then later wanted another 10 for another reservation in the same UY you could not do that.

To purchase OTU points you must call MS and provide a credit card number. You cannot purchase them online.

Say you have a September UY. In May you make a reservation for October and buy 10 OTU points. Does that mean in November you can but an additonal set of OTU points for a reservation in April?

No, once per use year. Your October and April trips would be in the same use year (September).

Also, member services does not take your credit card info- you are passed off to another department to make the payment, points are then added to your account, then MS makes the rest of your reservation.
