After reading all these threads on M:S, I decided to post some questions I see a lot and the answers to them here. Mods, this might be a good thing to sticky.

1.) Where is Mission: Space located?

Mission: Space is located in-between Test Track and the Wonders of Life.

2.) When does Mission: Space open?

Right now, Mission: Space (M:S for short now) is opening in the afternoon on most days. Beginning August 15th, M:S will be open all day every day with FastPass and Singles line operational. After that date, it's almost guaranteed that it will be open during your visit. On October 9th, the Official Opening will happen. The ride will probably be closed that day to the public.

3.) What is M:S?

M:S is a deep space flight simulation that includes turbulence, loud noises, and g-forces. While it is a cool ride, you know your limitations. If you can't handle these things spinning, and enclosed spaces, don’t ride.

4.) What is the height requirement for M:S?

40 inches.

5.) How long are the lines for M:S?

While still in preview stage, M:S has been receiving around 10-40 minute waits. When officially open, expect longer lines.

6.) Is FastPass an option?

According to sources, FastPass is now working at M:S. It should be operational during soft openings and the official opening.

7.) What days will M:S be closed?

So far, these dates we are sure it will be closed to the general public:

August 1-3 : Annual Passholder Previews

8.) Does Disney provide a post show for those not riding?

Yes, Disney has a child playground and two massive interactive games to play: Expedition Mars and Mission Space Race.

9.) I have heard lots of bad experiences, is that true you can get sick easily?

While some people will experience effects from any ride, to make sure you are fine, keep your head back on the headrest, don’t move it around, focus on the screen ahead of you, and don’t close your eyes. This will keep you from experiencing ill effects.

If you have any additions or corrections, post them here.
