Disney is not going to offer unending TV choices for one reason. They want you off the bed, out of the room, and spending money, not sitting there watching TV.
Most casino hotels offer less channels than average hotels for the same reason. No revenue if you are sitting around watiching TV.
Honestly, I never really notice what channels they do/don't have. I think we watch less than 1 hour total TV in a 8-10 day stay. Too much fun stuff to do to watch TV!
