A little vent here...why is it that people feel like there method/style of traveling is the only right way??? I think flying is a waste of my money. You think driving is a waste of time. I think park hoppers allow more flexibility. You think park hoppers are a waste of money AND time. I travel with family only. You think having friends come with you is a blast. I could go on and on and on....

What's good for you is not necessarily good for me. So why try to ram it down my throat???

Sigh...

OK, I'm done. Just had to get that off my chest. Thank you. :thumbsup2

Agreed. Some people are just a little to bent on maintaining that their way is the only way. It is not only in travel that people take a firm stance in maintaining that mentality.

:rotfl2: You need to spend more time on the trip report boards. No body pushes anything down anyone else's throat there and you can read about a wide variety of travel styles.

I've seriously just about given up on posting any questions on here. Just seems like when someone goes against the majority, they get lambasted. I just figure if you can't answer the question, don't respond. Giving an idea of what you would do is one thing. Making someone feel they are crazy for doing it differently is ridiculous!

That's why I don't ask for opinions about driving vs. bus, flying vs. driving, hopping vs. not hopping, dining plan vs. no dining plan, etc.

I already made up my mind. And you aren't going to change it.

Those that do ask want honest opinions. Ore are trying to stir the pot.

I haven't seen any of your posts, but my suggestion is to know your group before you post. If you ask about off-site on the resorts boards, you will get a different answer to the same question on the Orlando board.

You also need to learn to let things go. If you don't like the answers you are getting, walk away from your post. If you stop posting on it, they usually go to the next pages pretty quick.

I'm not just talking about my posts. I've seen it several times on the boards. Just something that's irked me for a while. Hate to see people bullied. Just sending a reminder out to all that not everyone travels the way that you do. And that's okay. And I'm off my soap box. ;)

Everyone has their own opinions on EVERYTHING! What works for 1 family may not work for another obviously. I haven't seen anything too bad regarding anyones plans EXCEPT the whole stroller topic (who knew that could be an issue, lol). I'm in the boat, rent one if it'll make the vacation easier. I think on the internet since you can't hear the posters response, postings can be taken the wrong way. If someone is giving their opinion, it doesn't mean they're being rude and doesn't mean you have to do things their way or you won't be accepted around here, lol. Just do what is best for YOUR family and YOUR vacation. :)

I don't understand why you started this thread. People are free to post their opinions. If you don't agree, that's fine. Ignore people who want to argue. If you are getting so stressed out from reading opinions written by total strangers, perhaps you should avoid anonymous discussion boards. No one can "ram" anything down your throat unless you let them.

Pardon me for expressing my opinion. :confused3

Because my way is better!.:rotfl2::rotfl2::lmao::lmao:

OK, seriously.....Why let it bother you and why do you care what others opinion is. You do whats best for your family. Whether they tell you how they would do it or not, just thank them for the advice and move on. If it is someone important to you and you respect his/her opinion, look at it as a way to talk about other possibilities. If it just a stranger or just someone trying to bud in, ignore it and do things they way you like. It is your choice whether or not to let it effect your day. Just choose to not let it bother you.

This is a public forum, not everyone will share the same opinion, ideas, likes, dislikes.

True. True. True!

Opinions are just opinions. Everyone has one. Don't let people's opinions get you down! My opinion, of course.

Seriously guys, I'm really over it. It was just a vent yesterday because I had read several posts where it was happening over and over again. Thanks for all of your advice. I'm good now. :thumbsup2
