We're a group of 6 adults looking for one room. Would consider 2 rooms, but that's pretty easy to figure out if that's the best option. It's husband and wife, 2 daughters and 2 boyfriends. It's only for one night before leaving for Disney Cruise. Not interested in any value resorts. What are the best options?

In terms of sleeping space for a one bedroom, Old Key West may be your best choice since it has a king bed in the master bedroom and then in the living room a queen pull out, twin pull out, and a love seat (just a love seat, no additional pullout) that isn't too bad to sleep on. Plus, Disney Springs is just a boat ride away so everyone could go out and have their own dates/dinners if that was desired.

Isn’t max occupancy on a one bedroom 5?

Ah, you're right, was only thinking in terms of what you could possibly sleep comfortably, not what Disney has the limits set to. OP may be limited to a 2-bedroom or a pair of studios.

At the mods, there are a few suites at CSR that sleep 6. You could also get a cabin at Ft. W.

There are a few deluxe resorts with Deluxe rooms that sleep 6 - BWI, BC and WL. All of the deluxes have suites that would accommodate you. Some you need to call in to WDW to price out as not all suites are listed on the website. The suites are not cheap.

You would fit into any DVC, 2-bedroom as well. If you aren't interested in renting points, if you are going during a discount period, you may luck out and be able to book a 2-bedroom villa at a discount. We went in July and had a 2-bedroom at BCV which priced out far less than getting two regular rooms at BC.

If it's just for one night and you are trying to save money, I would definitely, simply, price out 2 rooms at a mod as well.

Have you thought about booking something near Port Canaveral and doing something around that area?

I would go with 2 mods - 6 is going to be tight. plus most rooms have a max of 5, and 2 rooms gives another bathroom

Boardwalk Inn's deluxe room - club level: 2 queen beds and one pull-out queen sofa bed with unlimited food and drinks.

But six adults in a resort room (vs DVC) will cost an extra $100 per night. $113 or so with tax.
