One Ride...Six Hours

If you had to stay on one ride, riding continuously, for six hours (they could provide you snacks if needed), what ride would you pick?


I think I would go with either Haunted Mansion or Journey of the Little Mermaid.

If sleeping was allowed, Ellen's Energy Adventure. If sleeping wasn't allowed, I'd love to say Star Tours, but I think I would probably get whiplash, so... I'll go with you. Haunted Mansion. Or Pirates. Anything where I could study every little detail at my leisure.

I'd probably go with Haunted Mansion or the PeopleMover if it was nice outstide. Something nice and smooth. My favorite ride is ToT, but I think 6 hours continuously on ToT would be too much.

Like @10MoreMinutes mentioned, I think what the weather is out and also what time of day would impact things. If it was nice and coincided when you could see the parade or the fireworks I think the people mover is a great choice

Other ones that come to mind are the train or even the EPCOT line of the monorail

Maybe the Safari since the animals change every trip - or the Jungle Cruise ... that skipper would really have to dig around from some jokes to keep a 6 hour cruise going

Personally, I'd want a ride with a somewhat comfortable seat with a high back so I can lean back. So Haunted Mansion, Little Mermaid, or Spaceship Earth all come to mind. I think SE would be my first choice. It's a nice long ride with plenty to look at and there isn't a lot of loud music.

PeopleMover.

1. It's completely shaded, so rain would be irrelevant.
2. You get to see different rides during each trip.
3. You get some good people-watching time, so each trip is different.
4. It's slow and smooth and relaxing.
5. Duffy isn't involved in any way.

I love the PeopleMover but it isn't as slow and smooth as people seem to think. There are several points on the track where you speed up pretty suddenly (and without any warning) or make some sharp turns. I know several people who aren't able to ride it due to back issues. It doesn't bother me but 6 hours of it might.

That's true. It's the longest ride. At least you won't get too tired of seeing the same thing over and over.

Anything but the PeopleMover. Because my back.

I have ADD, so anything for 6 hours will be bad news, but I think the least horrible candidates are probably Little Mermaid, Its a Small World, Pirates, or Spaceship Earth. I would like to ride 7 Dwarfs Mine Train or Big Thunder Mountain for 6 hours, but I'm guessing that after an hour or two, my stomach might disagree with that decision.

PeopleMover for sure. Haunted Mansion is my favorite, but there would be more variety with PeopleMover. Lots of people-watching, which could be entertaining.

Steve, please keep in mind that I live a very fast-paced, exciting, adrenaline-filled life. I drive an expensive sports car(and I drive it very fast) and have top-level meetings all day with very famous and influential people. So EVERYTHING at Disney World is slow in comparison to my everyday existence.*

I was going to say People Mover, which yes - I think would be great (if weather is good), especially because people watching is supreme, and would always be changing. But yes - the sudden twists and turns it does make at some times might bother my surgically-induced neck after awhile. So if I can say a monorail or a boat from/to anywhere, cool. If not, I think Monsters Inc. Laugh Floor 'cause again - show would be a bit different every time due to audience, people watching would be good, and does not move, no songs. Small World is TOTALLY out for me - I'm practically clawing my seat at that song after 6 MINUTES, let alone 6 HOURS!! Even my beloved Figment, in his current state, would annoy the heck outta me for that long - ESPECIALLY in it's current state! I'd love to say the safari - but again - don't think my neck/back could take it for that long.

Back in the day, I used to go to WDW with my best friend. We had a tradition of going to BTMRR around 11pm before the late showing of the MSEP and the park was open until midnight. We would ride over and over for the hour or so until they closed the ride for the night. I'm not sure I'd do it for 6 hours but it was sure fun back then.

If it were cool enough I'd say the safari, but if it's over 85 I'll go to the American Adventure. Cool, dark, comfy seats to spread out in.

I would love to say HM or IASW or Splash but as much as I love each song, I couldn't handle 6 hours of any of them. So I'll go with the people mover too.

Hmm, I have knee issues so certain attractions are out because of that for me. I would say Haunted Mansion or the People mover.
