One reason why I hate my job....

well not my job, the people that manage the place and believe they own it.
My schedule has been the same for the longest time as I requested to the area supervisor a long time ago and he agreed. Well this week, without my knowledge , they changed it and I just came back from work because I went in 1-1/2 hours too early! I didn't stay because the husband is there and I can't stand him. We have the entire family working in that store and they all boss people around but only one is the manager. I only work two blocks away from home so to me that was not a problem , I'll be back at 7, in the meantime I'm DISing!

I work for a family owned business and it SUCKS!!!!!!!!!!!!!! so my sympathy to you.

My husband works for a family owned busines and they have always been good to us. It helped that they thought of him as a son as well.

Kanga, are they trying to make you angry? Do they have another family member that needs a job? That's the only reason I can think of they would not only change your long time scheduled hours, but not tell you about it. Whatever the reason it is very rude, like Tony said.
