One positive thought about school starting soon...

My grocery bill will be slashed significantly! With 2 teenage boys and 1 pre-teen girl, it seems like I spend more time in the grocery store than I do at home. Can teenagers even walk past a refrigerator without opening it?????

Put a list of chores on the fridge. It's like kryptonite to the average teenager.

A conversation at my house with my two teen sons:

Kids: "I'm hungry and there's nothing to eat" (goes on all week)

Mom: "I'm going shopping, what do you guys want?"
Kids: "I don't know"
Mom:"Anything else you guys want/need?" (actualy in the store shopping)
Kids: "Nope, can't thing of anything"

Kids: "I'm hungry and there's nothing to eat" (2 hours after we're home from shopping.Goes on all week)

Repeat.

BTW...all this is said while constantly eating the food that doesn't exist

Sounds like my house!!! I just wish I knew how to make "I don't know" and then we would be set!
