ONE point short!!

Okay, I'm at a loss, and hoping you can help me figure out a solution. I'm one lousy point short for adding an extra day to my next trip. Is there anything I can do to resolve this ridiculous crisis? Sorry if there's an easy and obvious answer, and thanks in advance for your help!

Edit to add: Is this a good point rental thing? If so, how would you go about it? Never did one, so I've no idea how these things work. Thanks again!

Definitely. If you can't borrow any points from next use year. Transfer or rent sounds like your solution. GOOD LUCK!

I think we may be in the same spot as you for our next trip!!

I figured I would just go over to the DVC rent/trade board where you can rent points. We once rented points (I think it was about 12 we needed). My advice would be to rent from someone who has a lot of posts on these boards. If the going rate is still the same, it should only cost you about $10.

Check out the sticky threads at the top of that board, too. It should answer all your questions about renting points.

Do you have points left for 2007 so you could borrow that 1 point?
