As we are making a quick visit to Orlando during spring break, we were going to go to Universal but now we think we want to stay at Disney and go to one park. We have been before. We are thinking MGM but is that the best one. We plan on checking in on Sunday and going to one park on Monday.

Who's "we" and what does "we" like most in the way of rides and attractions?

In 2002 when I went to one park (with my then g-f), for tradition's sake we went to the Magic Kingdom.

If I could go to only 1 park, I'd go to MK. If you like the thrill rides, like Tower of Terror and Rockin Rollercoast along with seeing a few shows, I'd go to MGM.

Universal is very movie oriented. As is MGM...do you really want to go to all Movie oriented parks? Or would you prefer something classic like MK?
It depends on how old your kids are and if they have been before.

When in this situation I always choose Epcot. I'm partial to Epcot's restaurants and atmosphere, as well as Illuminations.

I think it depends on several things.Do you have kids, how many, how old,do they like shows,or fast rides.etc.Personally,I would rule out AK,as its' imho, the most boring. That leaves MGM,which has more thrill rides and movie themed. Epcot, which is more laid back, lots of great food, not many rides though.Or,my favorite,MK. It has all your classic Disney attractions, and when most people think of DW,it's the first park you think of. Good luck, and whatever park you choose,it's ALL Disney,so it's ALL good!

I think I'd have to pick MK too, for classic reasoning. However, since you've been before which park is the favorite among who's going. That would be the park I'd pick then.

I think it is a personal preference; however, if you have young ones I would definitely choose the MK.

Also, check for the park you get the EMH in if you staying onsite. You would get either an extra hour in the AM or up to 3 in the PM. This could greatly expand your touring day.

If it were me, I would do MK if I only had one day to spend in Disney. MGM would be a close second since I LOVE ToT and RnRC

We always only do one day as we live in FL and have family close by. We normally stay onsite for 2 nights though, so sort of draw it out. Anyway, we have family that works there and can get us in free, but we dont' want to bother them all the time, so we get them to get us in for 1 day and we usually do MK.

I would probably choose Epcot. There is so much to see and do there. The food is wonderful and you can pick from so many different things. :cool1:

I'd choose Epcot, since it's like two parks in one with Future World and the World Showcase! Ya got your thrills (Mission: Space), ya got your shopping (oh yeah, World Showcase rocks!), ya got your sit down show, and free soda, Dinosaurs...and the food!!!! On my 9 day trips I always budget 4 days for Epcot.
