We were at Disney from 10/2-10/8 and had a great time (will post report later). One thing that sticks out in my mind, though, was the fireworks at MK (Wishes). We were positioned in Fantasyland, almost directly beside the Castle (on the bridge close to Fantasyland). We got a good look at Tinkerbell flying. However, when the fireworks started (which I filmed)...well, it kinda stunk.
I haven't seen the fireworks in a couple of years, but now they shoot some from (what looks like) behind the Castle, and then launch the larger ones well over the park. The problem is that the smoke from the smaller fireworks completely obscured the larger ones. You could barely make out the large fireworks in the sky. Perhaps it was worse where I stood, but I imagine it affected a lot of viewing areas.
Just an observation.
