ok...we want to do the premium again in December with our dear friends. We WANT to do the premium at the end of our stay because some tours, etc, aren't offered during the weekend. However....

dear friends will need the park tickets attached to their premium package at the beginning of the week. Is that workable? Is not financially feasible to buy them 7day tickets then a one day on their package as they truly don't plan to do Disney again after this trip. We have APs so that's not an issue for us...but it is for them.

How can we make this work? If we can't pick them up before we start the package, we'll have to re-arrange the trip. Help, pls. TIA.

When you book a package the tickets that come with it are good on the day the package starts, not before.

It looks like, according to Cheshire Figment's sticky on tickets, you can pick up tickets linked to a package up to 3 days before your package starts. It sounds like you may need to get them earlier than that, but perhaps that window will be helpful. Link to sticky HERE - see post 15, section I.

Alternatively, perhaps you could consider purchasing their 1-day tickets from them to use towards renewing your AP's (or for you to use on a future trip)? You could get them separated from their KTTW card and hold onto them until time to renew. Maybe that isn't feasible either, but just an idea.
