One Night Only

I am going to be in the area for a short time and was looking to drop into Disneyland to ride and experience the Star Wars ride. Is there a good time and or night to do this typically? I am there from Monday through Friday morning so I a few options... any thoughts?

I’m not going to promise which day of the week will be slightly less insane than the others but if you want to go on Rise of the Resistance, you will need to get there pretty early. Follow the Rise of the Resistance boarding group thread to find out how the boarding groups to even get on the ride will work (we don’t know yet).

We were there around New Years so that might not be that great a way to judge the crowds. However, you can download the Disneyland app and check the estimated wait times to get a feel for how long the lines are at various times of the day or different days of the week. Right now Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run is indicating a 45 minute wait time. When we were there it was consistently 60 to 90 minutes. They also have no FastPass for it, so getting there first thing in the morning to collect a FP return time isn't going to work.

Right now kids are back in school so it might be a reasonable approximation of what you might find for an off peak day.

Yea, my hope is to go in and just do this ride and may one other... I haven't been to Disneyland in like 20 years... Anything else I should check out? Again it will probably be after 5:00 when I get there

This all depends on how late the park is open when you visit. Off peak schedules mean shorter hours, so check the closing time on the day you visit.
