One Night On site

Staying two weeks on site at Universal but would like to 'break out' for one night at Disney. Thought about Disney's Boardwalk as we want to do MGM. Is it walking distance to the parks, can you see Epcot Fireworks from there? Any thoughts/advice??

My favourite place

You can walk to both Epcot and MGM from here or take the Friendship Boat.

We could see the top of the illuminations fireworks from the balcony of our room.

You could stay at either the Boardwalk, Y & B Club or Swan & Dolphin in that area. If you wanted to rent DVC points for the stay, have a look on the DVC Rent/Trade Board.

I also love the Boardwalk

We stayed there in may this year and I was worried it would be noisy, but it was great. We were on the 5th floor above the DVC sales office so we had a great view of the Epcot fireworks. If we looked to the left we could also see the MK fireworks (well that's what we think it was anyway!?)

It was so handy for everything, Downtown Disney, Epcot etc and I loved just walking out the hotel and having some good restaurants and bars to choose from. We also went to PI one night using Disney transportation as the last bus back is 2am.

We loved it so much we've booked again for oct this year.
