We are thinking of booking to stay one night on-site next October, so we don't have to worry about getting back to our hotel after MNSSHP.

So, my question is, which resort would you choose for just one night - and why? Doesn't matter whether it is Value, Mod or Deluxe.

I would suggest you stay at the WL. It's a nice boat from the MK.

I like to save money - so Pop Century (value resort) wins for me.

otherwise I would rent points from a DVC member and stay in VWL (if availability)

For just one nite I guess I would want save money so I would try Pop Century , but if no money problem, try one on the monarail CP GF PR. :cool1:

If the sky's the limit, definitely go for a monorail resort - I would personally pick a tower room at the Contemporary, so I'd have the option of just walking back to the room if there's a big line for the monorail.

I agree with above posters, if budget is an issue, one nite just stay in POP, but if you can afford it I would stay in Poly or CR. You will be right outside MK right after your MNSSP

Since you will be at the Magic Kingdom for MNSSHP, stay at a monorail resort. It is worth it for one night and the most convenient to get to and from the Magic Kingdom. Personally, I prefer the atmosphere of the Polynesian, but any would be fun.

Deluxe:
I think I would stay at the CR. I wouldn't want to stay there a week or even a couple of days because it just doesn't have that "resort" feel to me that other places have. However, for a one nighter and for the location alone, I can't imagine a better place to be. I would check in, have a nice dinner there and zip on over in the monorail and then after the party, zip on back to my room, again via monorail. :cheer2:

Then again, I think the GF (also on the monorail line) would be just beautiful for the holidays!!!

Mod:
POR is just so cute and quaint and the holiday decorations set this place off in my book!!! :flower:

Value: ASM. I love POP but if I had to pick a value, I could see ASM being more jovial. :earsgirl:
