DH and I will have one night each at Epcot and MGM in early October. We don't want to eat outside of the parks. Want to go to Fantasmic one night for sure. We've only eaten from the kiosks in the World Showcase before. We like all kinds of food. What restaurants should we go to? We also don't want to make priority seating reservations. Thanks!

We've had great lunches at the Brown Derby; the atmosphere is very Old Hollywood, and the food scrumptuous.

Don't skip the Grapefruit Cake for desert!

For MGM, eat at our new favorite... 50's Prime Time Cafe. The food is like home cooking and very delicious! The atmosphere is a lot of fun... remember, no elbows on the table, take your hat off, and eat all of your vegetables, or you may see them later in unexpected places...lol! It is a lot of fun... if you don't want a very "interactive" server, let them know before you are seated, though!\

At Epcot, our favorite for dinner is definitely Le Cellier. We love the atmosphere, the service is great and the food is delicious. They are very kid friendly, giving the kids crayons so they can color...and the kids have their very own cut of meat on the menu!

Have a great time!:)

Here's another vote for the Brown Derby.
Can I ask why you don't want to make PS?

My wife and I always make a point to eat at Mitsukoshi Teppanyaki in Japan. The food is delicious and you are entertained by the chef as he cooks your food in front of you.
After all, the reason you are in Disney World is to be entertained.

My family's favorite at Epcot is Chefs de France. The food is delicious and the service is good. We also like Restaurant Merrakesh in Morocco.

I would love to hear more suggestions for epcot!

I second the prime time diner! WE love that place, the CM's make it very fun!

The main reason that I posed this question was because we were set on eating French food at Epcot, but then I read something about Le Cellier and thought that sounded good. Then I figured there must be other places we are overlooking.

The reason I don't want to PS is because we don't know which night we will be at Epcot and which at MGM. We are meeting friends down there and have agreed to spend one day with them at MGM, but we won't know which day until we get there. Oh well, I guess I can't plan everything down to the last detail;)
