One night deluxe stay

Hey all. Headed to Disney in 2026 with husband, 12 year old and 14 year old for two nights so we can attend an MK After Hours Event. Which deluxe resort do you recommend?

I’d go close to MK. WL for cheapest price yet both boat and bus easy transport. CR and GF to be able to walk and Poly if you like a more fun vibe.

Cr Garden Wing is a better price option too. Short covered walk to main tower and easy walk to MK.

Agree with trishadono. If you want to go to MK, stay at WL or a monorail resort.

CR - either the tower or the wing - would almost always be my first choice, although I personally dislike the “Incredibles” room theming. BLT is another thought, although the studios there would be too small for your group. WL is a great choice too. It’s not quite as convenient as a monorail hotel, but it is a solid choice and less expensive.

Would definitely do a MK resort. I’d do either BLT or CR for the ease of just walking back to the resort.

I'd go for Poly! Can you spring for two days, so you have a complete day? I would definitely request early check in as you have an event. It is a big place and they should be able to accommodate, especially just one night.

I vote for poly or wl. I enjoyed my stay at the CR but we never walked back. I prefer the tower to the garden wings. I like having a balcony. The wl is my favorite lobby of all the MK resorts. It is so peaceful.

Another vote for WL. Not a fan of Poly these days, it just seems too crowded.

Do you know Disney actually runs buses/transportation to other resorts than MK resorts before/during/after After Hours events????

Wilderness lodge is one of our favorites for easy access to the MK..Also the new Polynesian resort looks real nice and has Monorail access
