I find myself going to Florida for a family situation. And I will have one day free in the middle of my stay. Since I will only be one hour from WDW and I have an AP - I called around to see what I could get. Guess what? I got the WL for $127 a night (includes tax). So I am going to check it out. I plan to check out POR also for future reference.

Can anyway give me directions on the best way to get to WL? This will be the first time I have ever done this alone and I get lost easily. I will be driving. Thanks.

here is a map

the easiest way - you know where the MK is right - well get in the far right lane - all the way over - then at the second? light turn right - (don't turn until you start seeing traffic lights - you could end up at FW) - if you see the Contemporary you have gone to far.

there should be a sign - WL/VWL

If you are on I-4, take the 64B exit. Follow the MK signs and work your way on to World Drive. As you approach the MK gate, you want to be to your right. The booth to the far right is for buses and the next one is for CM's. You want the next one and tell the CM you are checking into WL. They will tell you to follow the Green Line on the road. When you get to the first set of traffice signals, turn left and follow the WL signs, you are almost there
Enjjoy, but you are going to hate yourself for only bookking one night..

You could try AAA [aaa.com if you want to do it online] if you're a member or mapquest.com for detailed directions and/or maps.

I can't swear to this, but I'm pretty certain that there's lots of road signs to WDW. You can do it! :) Have a good time at WDW! :)

thanks everyone. I didn't realize that the turn off was so close to the CR. I think I will have no problems. I wish I could stay for more than one night, but at least one night is better than none!:p
