One night at VGC; what are the chances?

Seeing as how we are very new to DVC I need the help of some seasoned veterans! So we have a studio for one night next month at VGC and we have been waitlisted for 3 months on the second night of our stay with no luck on a room yet. Realistically what are the chances of having my waitlist come through for one night 24 days out? If we can’t get it and we end up staying at Paradise Pier for the second night will Bell Hop services move our luggage to PP? We are planning on hitting Disneyland that day commando style (1st time there with only a day and a half to do DCA and DL) and I don’t want to lose any more time that we have to checking in and out. Thoughts? Advice?

I wouldn't count on it. I had a studio one night add-on waitlist for late September last year, got on the waitlist in June. Never came through. We ended up staying at PP. We just wheeled over luggage over in the morning and checked it with bell services at PP. I don't know if they do transfers.

Thanks Tim, I didn't have any clue there were so few studios. I guess I was lucky to get the night I got less than 4 months out.

I was just browsing last night and saw 4 consecutive nights available including July 4 for a studio at VGC. I guess someone had just cancelled it. Boy, I sure wish I had the points to grab that one. You could get lucky.
