One night at the Wilderness Lodge, Suggestions?

You guys are so helpful and smart, so here is goes! I booked the Villas at the Wilderness Lodge for a 2-bedroom from November 9th - November 16th. They didn't have the night of November 8th, so I booked a one-bedroom for that night hoping for the waitlist to come through. Of course, I didn't. We are staying at the Hard Rock for November 6th and November 7th, and would rather spend and extra night there then change rooms for one night. I posted the reservation on the rent board, no takers. I guess I'm not suprised. Any suggestions?

sometimes when you check in they can work miracles - either get you that studio or upgrade you to a 1-bedroom for the entire time.

but this is just sometimes and if you get the right CM. one of the ones at VWL won't work with anyone...

when you get at VWL explain your situation and see if you are lucky and get one of the CM that will work with you.

Is it possible to request yhat the one bedroom for the 8th be the main part of the two bedroom you will have having for the rest of your trip, so you start in the main area and then get the studio unlocked after the first night? That way you aren't moving, just expanding.

Great idea, a win win for everyone, less housekeeping for them unless it is a dedicated two-bedroom that they have them booked into for the rest of their stay. Hope everything works out for you! Have a great trip!
