We are going to be at Disneyland on the last Sunday in February. I was wondering if it is possible to do the parade, fireworks, magic memories and me, IASW, and Storybook canal boats with arrival at 6 and leaving by 9:30?
It's very possible to do that in that time frame. You could do more too.
Watch MMY and then go strait to finding a spot for Fireworks. You could watch from Small World Plaza, but you may have enough time to get a much better view in the hub area. Then go back and ride Small World if you didn't before. Sundays that are followed by work days calm down a bit after the fireworks.
The fireworks view from the Small World mall area is pretty good in a pinch/if you don't like crowds, but not as amazing as by the hub. It looks like "The Magic, the Memories and You" is at 7:45 or 9:30, with fireworks at 8:40. Others here will know better than I do if you can make it into a good viewing spot in the hub area in that timeframe.
(If you don't mind leaving the park gates until about 10, you could see the second Magic, Memories and You show instead. Though I LOLed at you saying "and Me" because it's true...you will be there, and you're the "you" they're referring to. )
Unless things have changed since 2010 (possible), Storybookland Canal Boats at LEAST opens up after fireworks when the park's open late, as I rode it at maybe 11 PM one night. I feel like I read people mention they got a great view of the fireworks while on the Storybookland boats too, but I'm not sure what show that was or if I was misrepresenting.
I do think it closes for the parades but the late parade is at 6:30 if I recall correctly so that closure probably won't affect Cindy fan.
