My husband and I are planning to go out just adults one night during our October trip and leaving our boys at the Neverland club or the like depending on where we go- If you could pick one place to eat a delicious romantic meal ( and I dont think we have time for V and A) at at 2 TS restaurant where would it be? We loved Cali Grille when we went last year but would like to try something new.
Thanks

If you aren't on the dining plan and don't mind spending a wee bit more, I'd say go for Todd English's' bluezoo™ at the Dolphin. If you are on the dining plan and want to use the credits, I'd say Citrico's at the Grand Floridian.

That is EXACTLY what I was going to suggest!

I'll 3rd that. Or if you aren't seafood eaters then I'd go for Shula's if you don't have one in your hometown :)

If your taste is a bit more adventurous, Jiko's at AKL is wonderful. It's our favorite signature restaurant.

we want to do the same thing, ds is 4. i was thinking Flying Fish, i've heard the new chef there is very good. i'm going to ask a friend of mine who works for disney, he's a grad of CIA, i'll let you know his recc. i would love to try blue zoo but want to keep it on the ddp. i don't like fish but dh loves it, the non seafood offerings look really good at ff.

not on dining plan, I suggest bluezoo or Bistro de Paris.

on dining plan, Flying Fish.

Based on atmosphere alone, I have to say Jiko.

We ate at California Grill, Jiko, Narcoossee's, Yachtsman Steakhouse, Brown Derby, and Artist Point last week. It was the quietest TS in our experience. By far, there were fewer children at Jiko, possibly because people are worried over the food choices? So if you are looking for a ROMANTIC location, Jiko fits the bill the best.

We loved our meal there.

The Yachtsman Steak House is our favorite  place to eat. The steaks are fantastic; my favorite is the NY Strip with brandy peppercorn sauce and white cheddar augratin potato.

If not on dining plan go to Bistro de Paris upstairs the the French Pavilion. It is second only to V&A for quality of both food and service on all of WDW.

If on the dining plan go to Jiko and ask to be seated in the Wine Room.

I do not reccomend California Grill as it is really very child-oriented.

Here is what my friend, CIA grad and Disney employee had to say: "Flying Fish of one of my favorite signatures (Chef is from Jersey, its gotta be good). Citricos, California Grill and Jiko are also great, but you really can t go wrong with any of them."
now I want to upgrade to the deluxe plan and try them all!!!!!
