I'm sure this has been discussed before, but here goes: I have a DD6months. Since she's still in the carrier, I was just going to take that with the carrier frame stroller to click the car seat into. But now I'm leaning towards taking the travel system stroller that goes with it....more comfortable, more storage, can recline, baby can have a little more room. We would be taking the "backup" (aka used) travel system stroller, so I'm not worried about something happening to it on the plane. I've got the new one at home. What are your thoughts about this....will we be able to get around easily with the regular size stroller?? The frame is light and small, but the travel system stroller isn't terrible either...folds with one hand, not that heavy, etc.

Sorry, I'm going on and on....thank you for your thoughts!!! :bounce:

I have been thinking about this too, and I think I'll be bringing my travel system stroller. I plan on having the baby strapped into the stoller during the day and not in the carseat/carrier. It isn't good for the baby to be in the carrier for too long because they can get hot and cramped. I need the carrier though because we will be using it in a car. My friend and I went to WDW in Oct and her 6 month old prefered the stroller because he could see all the fun stuff to come and not just be starring at Mommy all the time, who he sees all day everyday :rotfl: .

I've used my travel system stroller and did not find it difficult at all. I honestly just don't understand all the complaints. I really can't be that easy going. To be honest, I find it easier than the smaller strollers. The only place it is only SLIGHTLY more difficult is the buses and since we really spend so little time on the bus, it just doesn't matter to me.

Yes, it must get warmer to just be in the infant seat. At least in the stroller there's some air circulating. We won't be taking the buses, so that shouldn't be a problem. Thanks. :)

I would definitely just do the travel system stroller. She will be able to see a lot more that is going on, even sitting partially reclined, in the stroller, than laying back in the carseat all day.

Although it may seem like a bother, I took the whole system too. I felt bad enough that I had to bring her and that she would stay alot in the stroller. I did however buy a hand held fan from walmart that had a clip (like mountain climb clippie thing) and clipped it to the shade so that she constantly had air moving. The thing ate batteries, so I had rechargeable batteries and recharged a few every night. But it definitely helped.
