One More Sleep!

That is, IF I get my packing finished & can manage to make myself close my eyes!!

We're off to OKW - just dh & I......no kids. It is the first time for purely vacations reasons that we've taken a full week to ourselves. Our girls are 23 and 19......about time, huh!?!

I will try to post a bit of a trip report as we go. I have a few ADRs, but for the most part we are just winging it & doing whatever our moods lead us this week. I see a lot of pool time and and an exploration of the various adult beverages in our very near future.

Wow that sounds great! We always laugh and tell our kids when our youngest (now 14) heads off to college Dad and Mom are off to WDW.

Ahhhh!!! Ours are 15 1/2 and almost 9, so we have a ways to go!

We have a lot in common! We too are leaving tomorrow for Neverland. We will also be just the 2 of us, leaving our 23 yo son at home watching the house and our Westie. We will be staying at BLT for the first time and looking forward to staying in the MK area. I need to go to bed and try to get some sleep but it is always hard on the last night. Have fun!

Enjoy your special "no kids" trip!

We're at the point of having DGC who are just old enough to maybe begin coming with DH and me. So, we're trying that for 2 nights in June. In this trip we have 4 nights with the whole family, that's 4 adults and 3 kids. We have 2 nights with just DH, myself and 1 DGC, and we have 3 nights, just for the 2 of us! We've never had such a mix before, and my head is spinning from all the changes to ADRs and room reservations, but it's going to be fun!

We'll be at VB and BCV during this stay.

DH & I have been doing adult only trips for 3 years now. We have been members since 93 and the first time we did it seemed strange. I think we love DVC even more! We are planning a family trip with DS 24, DS 22 and DS friend 26 so that will be different for us. Enjoy yourselves!
