I carry a Walt Disney Tote with multiple zippered sections to hold all kinds of things....it works out great for us

i have a DH who carries a Back pack or what ever i decide on.........

GO TO LOVE EM !!!!

What I carry depends on the season and weather. In the winter I use a small backpack type purse that holds my windbreaker. In the summer I carry the bare minimum. Money and cards in my pocket and a water bottle at my waist. If I think I want the camera I do have a small belt bag (not big enough to call a fanny pack) that holds wallet, cards, camera, and a few other odds and ends. We try to travel extremely light. In cool weather we don't even carry water - we just us the drinking fountains when thirsty.

Wow Lots of discussion on this one. Thanks for all the viewpoints. In past trips I hvae done bothe the small backpack purse and the waist pack but it has been since 2002 that I was there in the summer. Right now I am leaning more to the waist pack as the tote bag I have doesn't have a zipper and the purse backpack seems inaccessible and annoying, at this moment anyway :-)
Thanks again for the replies!

Have fun at Disney for me...I still have three weeks before we leave. I can't wait to feel the rain drops mid day while in FL....too dry here!!!!!:sad1:

I have a sling backpack from Timberland that I love and use everyday. I used it last September at Disney and it held everything we needed and never got uncomfortable. It has external mesh pokets for a cell phone and a water bottle. I use it as my purse since I have an 8 month old and it holds my portable chaning pad etc. i don't think they make them anymore which is a shame because I LOVE it.

I picked other because we use a backpack not a backpack purse. Being a guy, there is no way I would want to go through that kind of embarrassment. And I can't even fathom me wearing a fanny pack. I hate those things. Just personally though. If you want it, go ahead.

Fanny packs hurt my back and I don;t really like them. I don't want to carry a shoulder bag purse because it throws my back out of alignment and hurts so I carry a backpack and it distributes the weight so I don't get a backache. Works great for me!

I did order a lime green baggallini messenger bag that will be here tomorrow, so maybe that will be on the next trip...I already have the baggallini lime green urban packpack and I like it a lot! it just isn't big enough for my camera.

I have that Baggallini messenger bag in Lime Green!! Love it.-it has so many pockets and zippers-especially the little zippered compartment on the strap..right next to my ear-that's where I keep my cell phone......Except I am such a ditz at times, I really have to stop and look at it and flip it around (and yes, sometimes look in the mirror) to see if its on the correct shoulder!! Don't ask, I am just that way....:rolleyes1

Backpacks get really, really hot on your back all day.
