Are there anymore hurricanes heading toward Florida?????
We are leaving on Saturday to drive down and was wondering if anyone is aware of anymore hurricanes heading that way. Our plans have been up in the air since we heard about Ivan and have decided to go ahead with our plans. I know we are going to hit the storm on the drive down so am planning carefully.

Tropical Storm Jeanne has formed in the Caribbean, could be a hurricane by Thursday and may affect Florida next week: Jeanne

At this point, here is the projected Path but it's really too early to tell where Jeanne is headed. I would continue with your plans and reassess on Friday.

Which route are you planning on taking? Depending on the amount of rain from Ivan, you may want to consider taking the I 95 down.

Updated to add: I just checked the NOAA website for Jeanne and this is the projected Path

I'm going now no matter what. I have changed my mind every day for the last week.
Robin, we will be at Pop as well. I have requested one of the buildings to the left when you walk out facing the pool. I will be there with hubby and 2 boys 5 and 12.

We have not made any room requests, so we will see what we end up with I guess!!

We stayed there two nights last January and were in the 70's buildings.

This time it is just me and my husband going. No kids allowed ,
they are 20 and 17. This is an anniversary trip for us.

Maybe we will cross paths while we are there! I guess I will have to wear the DIS colours the whole time that I am there.
