One more month to go...

One more month to go...til we can finally confirm our date for an escape wedding. What should I expect and What info should I have readywhen my planner call?

Just be ready by the phone
It won't be your planner yet. Most Likely it will be Diane or her assistant. She basically calls you to tell you the good news and confirm that you are still interested in that time/date and venue. Then about a week or two later she will send you the VERY long contract to look over and you and your fiance need to sign it. She will hold your date until the date stated on the contract. Then you just send it back in time. If you don't get it back to her then the date opens up for the next person (but you have like 10-15 days). You can fax it to her so she gets it right away, but they do need a mailed copy with original signatures.
Then they process that, (another couple of weeks) and you are assigned your planner and that person will call you to notify you that they are now your contact person - then all the fun begins!
