One more Fast Pass reservation Question

We have been to Disney a good amount of times.

In EPCOT there really isn't much that are "must do's" but we do enjoy the entire park. We just go by what has the shortest queues or what we feel at the moment.

My kids are older and don't care if we do Frozen, so if a FP pops up we'll grab it, if the stand vy is reasonable, we'll ride it but otherwise it isn't any dealbreaker.

However, they do want to do Soarin which we Fast Passed and Test Track.

Since we can't get Soarin AND Test Track Fast Passes, can we book a dummy early Fast Pass for something like Turtle Talk and let it expire, then use our Fast Passes for Soarin and Spaceship Earth(don't need one but just to use up a second).

If the Turtle Talk expired would we then be able to book pour 4th FP for Test Track if it is available?

I believe you cannot book two Tier 1 attractions in your first three FP+ reservations for the day, no matter when you booked your FP+ reservations.

You say your kids are older, don't forget Test Track has a single-rider line.

You are correct but the OP was referring to their 4th FP after using the first three. After using the first three you can get a FP for whatever is still available.

worst comes to worst, you just wait in standby.
the interactive queue is cool and it's air conditioned

Thanks everybody. We were figuring on doing standby, but if we could grab a Fast Pass that would obviously be better. Also we were hoping to maybe grab another Soarin FP for later in the evening after we come back from our afternoon break.

We never really needed to grab a 4th or during the times we visited it was busy so the only option left were attractions that you don't even need one for.
We have no problem using the system or how it works, but were just unsure of how the rules worked for the 4th+ additional FPs.

I'm here now. I have been able to do Frozen at rope drop and either Soarin or Test track with a 15 minute wait. The Soarin fast passes were out by around 9:30 though.
