Until Universal makes their major announcement(s)

Harry Potter details?
Merger with Busch parks?
Something unexpected????

I can't wait to find out!!

I would think it would be the HP opening date, with maybe some more details. :confused3 Is there a rumor that U may merge with Bush Gardens? Not sure how they would do that since they are in different parts of the state/country. :confused3

Yes, Blackstone which owns 50% of Universal and also Merlin Entertainment has been seen going through the Busch Parks. Remember Busch owns the Sea World parks as well, so they're not actually in different parts of the country.

With the debacle of HR3 I can't imagine them giving a date for Harry Potter. Maybe details but I would think they could hold on to that suspense longer.

Disney owns parks all over the place and both Universal parks are across the whole country so tbh it wouldn't be that big of deal. SW, BG, and think they have a water park all near Orl also. Edit(Aquatica obv that is the water park I was trying to think of...They also own one in Tampa iirc)

The curious part is if it does in fact happen, how would it affect prices and will they keep everything in place with the other parks and keep business as usual. Also if they will offer an AP for all the parks, Will they do the passport route where you can pick and chose? I am sure the price will be overwhelming with something like 16 ish parks to chose from.

Also would onsite affect the SW and BG parks also?

Could be interesting or it could be nothing. Idk but yup it is a suspenseful 1 day wait.

We can't wait for the annoucement, either. Any idea as to the time the annoucement is going to be made?

The Leaky Cauldron doesn't say anything about the time either!

I thought about the delays with the HR3 too but I think that had to do more with the coaster itself than Universal's not knowing what they were doing. Maurer Söhne caused more of the delays than anything else from what I understand.

The contract between Universal and Warner Bros/Rowling states the WWoHP must be open by June 30,2010. I'm sure there are provisions for bad weather, etc. but unless it rains everyday for the next few months, I expect the construction to pick up more.

Disney owns parks all over...so does Universal..or will soon...but the impact of any kind of merger between Busch and Universal in Orlando will make it the big two. I think something is coming down the pike but I'm not sure what...Blackstone's Merlin Entertainments buying Busch Entertainment and the fact that Blackstone currently owns 50% of Universal Orlando can't be a bad thing. Frankly...for all we know...Blackstone might bid on the other 50% of Universal and then merge everything together...who knows?

It should be interesting though.

Glad to know I'm not the only one eagerly anticipating tomorrow!

Yea I wasn't implying Universal did not know what they were doing. Bad press did go along with all those delays though and I can't imagine Universal going back to that with 10 months or so away from that date by setting one in stone today.

FL is unpredictable weather-like place and delays can happen so imo it would be weird for them to go from Coming in 2010 to opening at this set date. But that is just my opinion. It very could happen. Wouldn't be suprised if they amped up excitement by some more details though I just don't expect an exact opener to be announced.

Almost as exciting as Christmas eve!

Hopefully the announcement will be as good as opening Christmas presents!

Any thoughts on what time tomorrow this announcement will be released?

I'm not getting anything new on that site either. No new pics, no link to the webcast.

Must not be up for everyone, they may be using some sort of distributed thing.

Here is a screenshot I took, however:

Also maybe this link will work http://www.universalorlando.com/harrypotter/HP.swf ?
