I have two more days until I can reserve my FP+.. any quick tips or things not to forget?? I am not only reserving for me but for my sister and her family. I arrive June 4, leaving June 11th.. my sister arrives the 8th and leaves the 12th. I can book for her family right? We are linked and staying on property.... any tips would be appreciated Thanks everyone

Provencio - your tickets are linked separately and not included in a "package," correct?

You'll be able to book for the complete trip including your sister's family. It will be your sister's reservation that will allow the FB booking for the 12th.

I can relate! Our dates are exactly the same and I am booking FP+ for the first time tomorrow night at midnight. I'm not super nervous but I do hope it all works out and I can get what I need and then easily modify later if things pop up. I'm sure it will all be fine, regardless....but the pressure is on!

@provencio ~ if you sister is planning a park day for the 12th, she will have to book FPs for that day when her window opens.

Because your window closes on the 11th, you can't book hers for the 12th. She will have to wait until her window opens for her stay to book for the 12th.

You can book for her through the 11th.

OK thank you for clarifying... So I have a seven day ticket will be arriving late on the 4th and leaving early on the 11th... so if I book FP for the 4th (late afternoon/evening)... my window will close on the evening of the 10th..right? So my sister will have to book for the 11th and 12th for her party..correct?? Thank you I have about 51/2 hours to get this down LOL

Your window remains open through your check-out day even if you have booked for all your ticket entitlements. Your window opening is based on your resort stay.
What you should do is add yourself to the 11th group when you book FPs for that day. Then Cancel yours for the 11th and then book for your group for the 10th and so on. Because you will be using your booking window, someone on your room reservation has to be part of the 11th group. Then Modify to remove yourself from the 11th.

If that is too confusing, tell your sister she is on her own for the 11th and 12th.

I'm nervous too! I'm going the same dates 5th- 11th and am so excited to be at the 60 day mark! This will be my first time with FP+ too so I hope I don't mess things up too bad..lol...I already have my phone ready go off so I can get all my planning stuff and get ready to pounce!!...good luck to you OP!

For our trip in mid-May, I was in charge of booking the FPs for myself, my husband and his sister. I was very nervous, but it went swimmingly! I was even able to go in and tweak the initial offerings to get better times and locations for our plans.

Mk for us on 6/4 (just a tradition for first full day despite not being recommended) but I use easywdw a lot when making my plans. 40 min left! So glad I'm CST here

Eventually I got workable times for everything but it took me awhile. First, I was slow because I just wanted to make sure I wasn't getting confused and messing up. Second, the website started acting up when I got to day 6&7. At first, I couldn't get what I wanted on those days but after awhile I was able to modify and find what I needed. Of course, I'll be stalking for ROL, FEA, Olaf M&G, and possibly Soarin to change to if those ever show up before our trip.
