One month to go, but where oh where is my TA?

In one month we'll be one our way to WDW for the first time in 10 years and I can't wait but I'm getting a little nervous about one thing. I emailed my TA twice in the past 2 weeks and never heard back from him.

I haven't gotten any of my ME tags or any paperwork about the trip and I see that some others that are going at the same time or after me have gotten theirs, so I'm getting nervous. Also I wanted to let him know about a flight # and time change for the trip coming home for ME. Never heard back yet. Do you think this is odd? I guess he could be on vacation himself, but wouldn't he check his emails?

It's an online travel agency that supposed to be one of the Disney specialist ones. It's not the one that's a sponsor here, but I don't want to say which unless my trip gets messed up and then oh boy will I rant about them! I haven't had much luck with them. He got me the free dining, but only after I kept emailing him about it. I have a feeling that if I didn't, or if I didn't know about it, he wouldn't have bothered. Then he forgot to give me something else that I was supposed to get for free until I had to ask a couple of times. Never even reminded me to make my ADRs until WAY past the 180 day mark. Good thing I knew to do that on my own.

I had his cell phone number and now I can't find it. I'm giving him until Tuesday and if I still don't hear back, I'm going to call or email the company and make sure he still works there.

If we go back to WDW after this year, from now on I'm doing everything myself.

IT seems the vacation package arrives about two weeks before you go this seems to be the standard thing no matter what travel agent you have. I wish they sent it a month in advance so theres plenty of time to corrrect any mistakes you've encounterd.I would suggest next time try dreamsunlimited they make all your adr's for you and respond to all your emails within a couple hours

Doesn't seem like a very good Disney "specialist" considering the lateness of the ADR reminder and the fact you had to get on his back about very public codes.

With the travel docs, I have usually received mine between day 30 and day 45. For ME docs, CMs have always informed me that they come anywhere from 2-4 weeks prior to the travel date...though I've consistently received mine around the 3 week mark. Do you have the confirmation number? I know Disney will sometimes require to only deal with the TA if the vacation was booked through a TA, but I would still call Disney just to verify a vacation has actually been booked.

Does anyone else work for the site? If so, I wouldn't wait until Tuesday, I'd be contacting someone now. To be quite honest, this is part of the reason why we don't deal with TAs. We have rarely heard of anyone getting better deals than what we've been able to find ourselves...and we don't like having to deal with a middle man (especially if you're the one doing all the work!!).

When I'm on vacation, I never check emails. Vacation is exactly that...vacation. I leave all work and reality behind me until I return. That said, if he's actually on vacation, he should have either done an automated message (where anyone who emails him gets the auto response) stating he's on vacation or had someone check his emails for him until he returned.

Whew, finally heard back from him! He has my M.E. stuff but not the rest of the documents and will call to see when they are coming. I feel better now.
