I think we probably will skip the Indy Speedway or only go on if a kid REALLY wants to try it again. We need something a little more daring. ;) Thanks Jo. The adoption day was great and the girls are doing so well! :thumbsup2

Congrats on the adoption! The picture is great. You all look so happy.

It was a really happy day! Thank you! :goodvibes

I'm still here folks! Hope you all had a wonderful Easter! Just had another Mayo Clinic surgery for my daughter Morghan and then had a case of the stomach flu myself. Yuck!! I plan to update tomorrow hopefully if my job lets me even breathe. It's been an interesting week to say the least. ;)

Yuck!! I hope the surgery wasn't anything serious and that you both feel better soon!

Hope you feel better soon. I have some 'grossy' stomach bug now, and I will be glad to ship it off to somewhere else soon!

I hope Morghan is doing okay.

You are quite welcome!

Jordan! I just realized I called you Josh in some of my replies. I am so embarrassed. I just saw the "yosh" part of your name and made you into Josh. Forgive me. I feel like a fool! And I have to go back and edit now. :sad2:

LOL...I've been called worse.....I really don't mind.:)

Thanks Amy. She has surgery every 6-12 weeks on a vascular birthmark she was born with. It's around her eye so can cause issues with her sight if we don't treat it.

Thanks MeMom. Mine lasted a good 48 hours. I hope you feel better soon too!

I hope Morghan is doing okay!

Feel better soon

Thank you Michelle! She's healing. The lasers bruise her up pretty good for awhile.

I'm so sorry!! Jordan, Jordan, Jordan. Not Josh. Duh. I need an icon of slapping my palm to my head. ;)

Not that I think you need it or anything, but since you're looking for one......

Hi all! Back again with a short installment. You must also forgive me. This one will not have many photos. The day was chilly and I guess I just stopped snapping pictures for awhile. Shame on me…bad Diser. :(

After our filling lunch at Cosmic Ray’s, we headed back out for some more afternoon fun. Our absolute next stop was Monster’s Inc Laugh Floor.

I had seen this show once back in 2008 with friends and I was so thrilled to be able to show it to my kids. We really love humor like this and I knew they would get a huge kick out of it. I also was secretly hoping someone in our group would get put on the spot because we don’t really mind things like that. While waiting in a fairly short line, Morghan came up with a joke to text in. “What color is a burp?” “Burple!” Hahaha.

The queue is cute, isn’t it? Waiting is never that much fun but at least it gives you time to take in some cute details. Disney does cute details well I think.

(I just love Roz!)

As always, we giggled our way through the monsters’ fun performances. Unfortunately no one in our group was chosen but we still enjoyed it. The best part was when Mike was going to look into his “crystal ball” and then they flashed to a bald man in the audience. Hilarious folks! He was a good sport too.

We were ready for more fun and since it was right there, you know where we went, right? Well to Stitch of course. Poor Stitch gets a bad rep, doesn’t he? Once again there was very little wait time. We made our way in and I made a little mistake. We sat down in our chairs and I was sort of hunched down, fixing my shoe. The bars that come down on the chairs then came all the way down on top of me. I kind of freaked out, thinking I’d be scrunched down that far throughout the whole show. Eek!! :scared1: But I sat up and the arms rose with me so I was okay. Minor panic attack and I survived. We were burped on, hit in the back and spit upon and we survived. Marked off of our list and we proceeded on.

Tomorrowland Transit Authority was our next adventure. This is also a must do for us. Where else can you get such a great view? As the rest, no wait. Right up and right on. Three to each car and we were on our way. Why I didn’t take photos is beyond me. It kills me now!! I had a huge memory card to fill up. Sheesh. The kids loved seeing inside Space Mountain.

We had one last goal to accomplish in Tomorrowland. That would be the Carousel of Progress. I hear this is an oldie but I had never experienced it before. And I am so, so, so glad that we did. We ADORED this. It’s classic, isn’t it? It may be outdated but we all received the meaning well. What a wonderful attraction. “There's a Great Big Beautiful Tomorrow”….. We sing this all the time. The kids just love it. This attraction touched my heart. Obviously I didn’t take any photos inside but I wished I had some to remember it. No matter how outdated, we will always take a ride on the CoP. Love it!!!!! :goodvibes

We enjoyed Tomorrowland and were ready to call it an afternoon. As we walked, we could tell the crowds were increasing and we are not fans of crowds.

We had been lucky all week using TGM’s advice. The boys begged for one last ride on Pirates and since this was our very last park day, we took a little stroll in that direction. This is where we ran into “trouble”. We hopped in line and happened to be behind a very loud group of cheerleaders. They were not very nice kids to be honest. There were two adults with them but they continued to be loud, jumping all over the place, kicking their legs, saying words I’d rather my children not hear and being obnoxious. I am a pretty easy going person and stuff like that generally does not bother me. But these few girls were over the top. They held up the line doing a little stunt and about three families including ours, just went around them. (Remember this….) Here you can see a bit of them before they ended up behind some of us.

And then my sister and girls being goofy-

As always, the ride rocked. We all went “weeeee” on the drop. Awesome! We should have left then. But because our kids are kids, we hung around in the gift shop as they asked for everything under the sun. Out of nowhere comes one of the chaperones from the group of cheerleaders. She had also gon e up to two other families that were in line with us and went around the cheerleaders when they were doing their handstands or whatever. Basically she said that we were rude for cutting in front of them. I responded with that wasn’t our intention and just brushed her off. But she was really rude and loud and embarrassing. We definitely did not mean to cut in front of anyone. But when there are girls doing handstands, talking with curse words and messing around in the queue, we figured they didn’t care too much about their place in line. We thought wrong. Eek. That wasn’t a fun experience and we’ll probably try and avoid them as much as possible in the future. But, moving on…..

We picked up some last minute souvenirs here and also found a fun Photopass man outside. He was really cheerful and perked us right back up. I hadn’t seen this photo op before. Very neat.

After that, we were ready to bid our favorite park goodbye. However, the kids had to get a little wet first of course. Even when chilly weather sets in, these cannot be avoided by children of any age. :thumbsup2

They were nutso. Their mom is just as nutso. Like I said, it was pretty cold. BUT, there was one goodie that I had not been able to set my sights on the whole week.

Oh yes friends.

The best yellow snack around.

The citrusy goodness.

An ice cream dream.

And I only shared just a little. Is it possible to get a Dole Whip machine for my kitchen? Please?

But it was time. The week had been long. The week had been fun. We had spent two lovely days plus one wonderful night inside Magic Kingdom. It was time to tell our old friend goodbye. It was sad but we know we will be back one day. It might take a little while but we will get there. I promise you that. Thank you for providing magic and pixie dust for us Mickey. :cloud9: We will see you soon!

Back to our resort we went…

How did we spend our evening? How did we manage to get ourselves completely lost just trying to ride the monorail? You will have many laughs at my expense in my next update. Stay tuned friends.
