Im looking on a website right now and it gives a 2 out of 5 rating from teens because some found it boring. Now maybe I am a nerd but I am teen and I found very interesting and neat to learn about the man behind the magic...
You sound like someone who can appreciate the accomplishments of gifted individuals.
However, as you likely know from observing many in your age group (as I certainly did), many teens don't "like" anything that doesn't give them immediate gratification.
Seeing how those with humble beginnings and many early failures, like Walt Disney, have risen to be among the most successful and celebrated individuals on the planet can be inspirational to anyone with hopes of achieving his or her own superior accomplishments in life.
Disney had a steadfast desire to succeed using his own ideas, and he (along with the talents of MANY other gifted staff and loyal family members) made it happen... to heights even Walt could not have imagined.
As a child and teen, I always loved the Disney movies, TV shows and theme parks, and I always wanted to work in the same industry. I went to college and go my broadcasting degree and have been working in the Radio/TV and video production business ever since.
Walt Disney's legacy is the highest quality standard that I use as a benchmark.
"One Man's Dream" is a great "back-stage" look at all things that Walt used to build a place as COOL as
Disneyland and WDW.
Any teen or adult who likes the parks should really enjoy seeing the early stages of creation.
But again, its not a "roller-coaster."
