One Man's Dream closing

I know that this will never happen, but....One of the focal points of the exhibit was Walt's excitement over "The Florida Project". And the MK portion of the Florida Project was really just a way to financially justify a much riskier endeavor: the Experimental Prototype Community Of Tomorrow. While it is true that his vision never became a reality, the thing that Florida has that Disneyland and The Family Museum can never have is this link to the larger idea that Walt held onto until he died. So I think that this exhibit should remain in Florida, and it should find a home in the old Wonders of Life building, or the Odyssey Restaurant Building. Or the second story of the Imagination Pavilion. Or one of the old Communicore/Innoventions buildings. Or any other underutilized building in Epcot. To me, the exhibit is grounded in Florida and prominently features E.P.C.O.T., and that is where it should remain into the future.

I would sure be in favor of putting it in EPCOT...since that was the real driving force behind Walt's decision to build there...(albeit a different vision for sure)...also EPCOT is hurting for anything that's new..(are you telling me OMD isn't at least better than Captain EO)...if not new at least relevant to the experience, the place and the Genius that is behind the whole reason why any of us actually take time each day to not only come to this site...but also have so many shared memories with our families/friends and fellowship... It does not have to be the same film,in fact I would prefer something more current and hip...But it would be nice to have something in one of the FOUR Theme Parks where the younger generation can see why they are having so much fun and memories

most of what is left are models and replicas. Most the the costumes and the multiplane camera are replicas. but I was told at d23 by and imagineer that the office had been packed up and sent to san fransisco for the museum as the archives in glendale didn't have a way of displaying it. actually it would have been really nice to have the contents of both of his offices be displayed. actually it would be nice if the studio archivists could find a way to not only recreate these historical offices but include them in a tour so young people can see that yes there was a man named walt disney and yes he did indeed not only build but worked at the studio. to most young people or people younger than myself, Disney is just a name like ford or hilton. they don't associate a person with it

Now - that is the best news I have heard today.... :).

YOU said San Francisco. THAT would be the dead honest Walt Disney FAMILY museum - the place where anyone that actually cares about WALT DISNEY, the man, should visit :).

Just got back from it - July 2015. It makes "One Mans Dream" look like a cheap sideshow.
