One MagicBand; two tickets???

I have a MagicBand from a previous trip. Linked to that band is a pass (non expiration) that has 3 days left on it.

For my upcoming trip, I have a new 10-day park hopper, no expiration that I will need to start using (after I use up the 3 days left on the current pass).

Do I link both passes to the MagicBand? If so, is it smart enough to know to use the 3 days first?

Do I link the new pass only after I have used up the 3 days that are currently linked? Can the front desk do that for me?

Be careful. There have been stories of the wrong ticket being used first. Unfortunately, I don't know the correct way to proceed....

In MDE you can choose which ticket is active. You can activate and deactivate your tickets at anytime. I have 10 day non expiring tickets, unused 5 day tickets and an AP linked to my account. We will only be using the AP and the other tickets will not be active.

If you link both visit Guest Relations to prioritze the tickets in the order you want to use. This won't really be an issue since both your tickets are NE but could be an issue if you had a 1D Park Hopper and a 1 Day ticket and planned to use them in a specific order.
