There used to be a show on Much Music about this. I used to love it, and lately I've been thinking about them.

Who was your least?
Who is destined to be one?
Honestly, we all know them...

Macarena - Los Del Rios
Mambo # 5 - Lou Bega.

Generally, these singers and bands, only ever had one hit. Or they had more than one, but they lasted for about a month or two and you completely forgot all about them.
What about Absolutely - Nine Days... can you honestly remember anything about that other than the song?

Usually one hit wonders produce many of my favorite songs.
Dexy's Midnight Runners-Come On Eileen...how could you not LOVE that song?
or What's Up by 4 Non Blondes and MANY others. It's really hard to think of a one hit wonder that I DON'T like.

Ah, the 90's and the early years of this new millenium . I remember growing up with lots of one-hit-wonders, they were usually my favourites.

Oh and Tenten, I love the Bittersweet Symphony! I know it's dorky, but on our long 8-hour drive to Oregon last summer, whenever that song came on (because my dad has a whole bunch of old cd's) my siblings and I would all joke around and pretend we were running on a beach in slow motion- it just seemed like a fitting music video in our minds.
