We just decided to go Easter week. Crazy , right? I think we can accommodate our 21 yr old daughter in most parks at counter service but I would like to try and make one nice dinner reservation. Any night 4/5 -4/8, preferably NO character meals. What do you suggest? Thanks in advance for your help.

Any Disney owned restaurant will be good. Honest! Focus on what kinds of restaurants/foods your party enjoys and choose your restaurants the same way any other guest would. WDW really does make it easy for gluten free diners.

If you have any particular restaurants you're concerned about, feel free to ask questions, though you'll get more responses on the disABILITIES! board since there are many gluten free guests over there.

What are your thoughts about La Hacienda de San Angel, 50's Prime time cafe, and Le Cellier for GF concerns?

La Hacienda is not owned and operated by Disney; it is run by a 3rd party. I'm just not a big fan of places not owned and operated by Disney because their options are significantly fewer and frankly they're not as strict with their allergy rules. While I know many have had safe GF meals there, it's not somewhere we'll ever eat but then again we're dealing with a lot more allergies than just gluten so it's a lot more complicated for us. I've read of a few too many mistakes on food there (not gluten, other allergies) to feel safe.

We've had great experiences at 50s PTC. If you're willing to wait for it, the gluten free fried chicken is AMAZING!!!! There is other food that's safe as well but it's the chicken that brought us back. I would recommend popping in earlier in the day on the day of your ADR and giving the chef a heads up if you'll be wanting the fried chicken since it does need to be made from scratch and the pan of oil needs to be heated. This is VERY time consuming/slow so giving the heads up is supposed to lessen the wait for it.

LeCellier is one of my DD13's favourite restaurants but she LOVES a thick cut rare steak so that filet is drool worthy for her. I will say that options are more limitted that at some other restaurants but the food that's been prepared for us has been wonderful.
